Rationalism, Psychology, Philosophy, and a splash of QR
And so came into the world yet another rationalist-peripheral blog
Hi! This is the initialization post. In a year or so I may edit it to give an adequate overview of what the blog is *roughly* about, but for now, we’ll just say it’s an aggregation of commentary on P(A|B)=P(B|A)P(A)/P(B) by someone who reads a lot of economics, math, philosophy, psychology, and Less Wrong.
I’m still deciding how I intend to structure my posts, but for now, the idea is to generally segregate between polished work and unpolished work and to use a minimal set of “tags”. The idea being that whatever system I decide upon would give you a nutrition label of sorts to inform how you might incorporate my posts into your information diet. But, feel free to completely disregard the system, however it may manifest itself by the time you read this.
I welcome feedback and encourage readers to provide it in the comments. Just a word of warning: I will pretty ruthlessly cull comments which are not both useful and courteous, and will use relevant criteria that minimize false negatives. So, if I delete your comment, don’t take it personally — you might just be one of the false positives my approach has to accept. Or not.
Sign up now, if you want. And, if you by some miracle think that your friends would benefit from reading, share it with them as well.
